Nothing like a little drama . . .

to make me blog more.

I had the conversation with Pastor today. Now we need the details ironed out. I guess we'll be working on that some this week so we can present it to the congregation on Sunday. I'm kind of excited and kind of scared. It's a big job - lots of responsibility. It's going to require lots of prayer!

Today was the second day of VBS. It was fun. I did some different stuff today so that was fun - a little bit of teaching too which I enjoy doing. I'll get to do some more of that after I take the new position.

I signed my kids up for two more weeks of swimming. DD had the same teacher for half the lesson yesterday and then he took her to the other class. She got ticked off at him and doesn't want anything to do with him any more. The new teacher is great - DD even jumped off the diving board all by herself today! I was soooooooooo proud of her!! She would never even jump off of the side for the other teacher and she jumped in twice off the side today! Hopefully she'll really be swimming after this session!

My sisters and Mom took me out for my birthday - I almost wish they wouln't have. The kids were wound up and it was hard to relax. Plus it felt like they felt obligated and not like they really wanted to do it so I wish they would have just not done anything. Oh well, it's over. I'm exhausted and will probably head to bed now. It's only 9:15 but the stress of the week and the shear work of it is wearing me out!
