And the year marches on . . .
I don't know about this. I'm loving being at home - it's great, I am starting to feel lessed rushed. I've got time to breathe - well at least I feel that way from 8:15 to 2:05. ;-) But I am starting to resent being the heavy with the children. I swear they don't listen to a thing I say. I spend hours saying "get back to work" for homework, or "eat your breakfast" or "put on your shoes" or "leave the dog alone and get busy" and I repeat myself a thousand times it seems like. I dread them coming home from school because as soon as they walk in the door it's crazy and stressful and annoying and crazy. I don't make a very good Mom I guess because some days I'd just rather somebody else did it. Unfortunately during the school year those days are often!
I guess it's a good thing they're cute and I love them. I don't know how to even express how stressful it is to get them to do homework. I honestly think my blood starts to boil just thinking about making them do it. Why can't they just teach the kids at school and don't give them homework. After all, when you grow up and get a job you don't get homework - unless you're a teacher! And even then you'd have a lot less homework if you wouldn't give homework.
Do you think I could successfully lobby for NO HOMEWORK for children under 18? How I wish!!
