Happy Halloween

It's that time of year again - ghosts and goblins galore. ;-)

My rule about Halloween in the past was always "no witches, no scary stuff, no evil stuff." Well, as my kids get older and I get older - rules are flying out the windows. I'm getting old and my eyes are opening to the many different shades of gray. I like gray - I like it better than black and white anyway.

So for this Halloween I've got a cute little witch and a scary little (not so little anymore really!) zombie. It's the first time I've caved to my "halloween rules." And you know, I don't think it'll hurt them in the slightest. ;-)

It's nice to not have to be in charge of the harvest festival this year - such a more relaxing day than I've had the past two halloweens. We're going to go trick or treating tonight - we're going to pass out candy and carve pumpkins and have a fun night.

I think we'll even go out to lunch since it' s early day at school.
