It's August!

WOW! Where did the time go?

I leave in TWO days for East Africa. I can't believe I'm really going. I'm going to miss my family!! Once I get back it's only a week and a half until school starts. So I'm bummed that I'm going to miss the rest of their summer vacation with them. But I'm also excited for them that they're going to get to spend it with Daddy. It'll be a different experience having summer with him rather than with Mom!

Other than getting ready for Africa not much has been going on. We went to camp and had a great time. The kids all got along great and dh and I had time each afternoon to sit and talk. that was the best part of the week.

I really wanted to have a date with my hubby before I left for another continenent (how come I can't spell that word today?) but I don't see how it's going to happen. :-(

It's time to get back to laundry and VBS planning. I'd like to get packed tomorrow if possible.

DS has a doctor appt Thurs morning and I don't want to be worrying that it's going to take forever to get done and I have stuff to do.

Only 2 days until I leave. Only 5 days until I've been married 17 years. Only 29 days until school starts. Only 31 days until DD turns 7. 142 days until Christmas.
